This is perkXsoundlabs, the creation of EDM music producer Paul Rolan Perkes. In this album Paul explores themes of progressive house and trance music in 15 unique tracks that are a representative sampling of his talents. This material was composed in the spring of 2013 and sat around on the back burner for year until Paul regained interest in the material and remixed and re-mastered it for this 2014 release. Paul often works this way, composing material and leaving it alone for a period of time to return to it later with renewed interest and new ideas.
Paul used a variety of techniques and equipment to compose this material including several apps on his iPad and the SunVox music creation application. All material was mixed and mastered with Propellerhead Reason 7.
Paul would like to thank all the people who continue to encourage him to keep composing and producing music including all his fans on SoundCloud, Facebook and Twitter, his Brother Victor, his ex-wife Kathy, his son Gregory and his most excellent friend Julie. Without their support and positive feedback this album would not be possible.
